LEED for Homes
LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) for Homes is a national residential green building program developed through a consensus process by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC is a non-profit organization with more than 15,000 member organizations all working to improve the triple bottom line: people, planet and prosperity.

LEED homes have lower energy and water bills, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and fewer problems with mold, mildew and other indoor toxins.

IBS Advisors is a LEED for Homes Provider, working with Green Raters to promote LEED for Homes, conduct training, perform preliminary ratings, provide technical support, perform inspections and testing, and complete the documentation required to achieve certification for the project.

While there are no “territories” for LEED for Homes Providers, our primary focus area is on Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. We may, however, take on projects outside that focus area, working to build the local Green Rater infrastructure in those under-served markets.

IBS Advisors has a unique combination of technical and marketing skills that provide our clients with the complete support package needed to successfully complete their project. We have RESNET-certified Green Raters on staff. We also have two RESNET certified Quality Assurance Designees, the highest level of Home Energy Rater certification available. We have a network of independent Associated Raters in the U.S. that help to support our efforts in expanding the green building market.LEED for Homes Logo
